The creeping fig is also known as the climbing fig which is primarily grown outdoors as a climbing vine. However, the ficus pumila is also grown as an ornamental house plant, successfully indoors.
Caring for Variegated Asiatic Jasmine
Sunlight: Bright but indirect sunlight
Soil: Well-drained soil.
Water: Keep the soil moist but not wet.
Temperature: 13-24 degrees C
Fertilizer: Fertilize the plant in spring and summer about once a month by any organic fertilizer.
- Prune off new stems regularly to encourage branching and to shape them as they grow. Pruning up to one-third in spring will keep the plant compact.
- Creeping ficus houseplant prefers to be slightly pot-bound. Repot every 3 years, moving to a pot 1 size larger or keep it in the same pot and just give it a fresh potting mix.
