Care for Weeping fig

Most ficus trees enjoy bright indirect or filtered light with variegated varieties happily able to take medium light. Bright, direct light may result in scalding of the leaves and leaf loss. It should always be avoided to place them in negative temperatures.

When growing ficus indoors, it’s important to maintain relatively high humidity around the plant. Regular misting or setting the ficus tree on a pebble tray filled with water is a great way to increase their humidity, but keep in mind that while they like high humidity, they don’t like overly wet roots.

  • Bright indirect sunlight.
  • Water twice a week.
  • Grows in Bright indoors

Fertilizer/ feed for the plant: Feed your Ficus a good quality fertilizer every month during summers. During winters, the plant growth naturally slows down so no need to over-fertilize them in winters.
Repotting: Repot the plant when it outgrows the current pot, during repotting choose a pot 2 to 3 inches larger in diameter than your current pot. The best time to repot your Ficus is during springs.
