The ‘Gir Kesar’ mango, also known as Kesar, is a mango cultivar that farmers grow in the foothills of Girnar in Gujarat, western India. In 2011, it received geographical indication status due to its bright orange-colored pulp. The largest market for Gir Kesar mangoes is in Talala Gir (located 45 km from Gir National Park).
